What does Cognia accreditation mean?

By Carolina Landázuri, Elementary Director

Since 2022, our school has held Cognia certification, an international nonprofit organization that provides quality assurance for schools, school districts, and educational service providers worldwide.

Being accredited by Cognia means that we are internationally recognized as a school that meets Cognia’s Quality Standards and is committed to continuous improvement.

Cognia accreditation implies that the school:

  1. Meets rigorous educational standards, including teaching quality, continuous improvement, and student success.

  2. Participates in self-assessment processes and receives visits from external evaluators to verify compliance with these standards.

  3. Is committed to continuous improvement, using Cognia’s recommendations to enhance its practices and educational outcomes.
